Track

Not only does the Track team experience a great deal of success during their season, they also experience a lot of fun!
One of the many highlights is the University of Kansas Relays :

• Features the best high school athletes from across the nation
• Collegiate and professional athletes (including Olympians) competing in an open division
• Maize athletes get to meet and watch elite athletes
• In 2010, the MHS boys 4x400 relay team was the only team from Kansas to qualify for the finals

Accomplishments

• 30 individual State Champions
• 4 Regional Team Championships
• 6 League Team Championships

Since 2010

• 2 individual State Champions
• 2011 girls AVCTL Champions
• 2011 girls Regional Champions
• 10 graduates currently on tract scholarships
• 23 athletes qualified for State in 2011
